Truck Driver C+E with Curtainsider Trailer

Description

For over 35 years, our transport partner has specialized in freight logistics connecting the Netherlands, Belgium, and the Ruhr Area with Alsace in France, the German Black Forest, and Switzerland. Operations encompass palletized general cargo, partial shipments (LTL), and full truckloads (FTL). Carried cargo includes industrial goods, seasonal flora (container trees), and compliant ADR hazardous substances. The fleet comprises 20 of the newest VOLVO tractors and premium curtainsider trailers adapted for intermodal rail transfer.

• ▸ROSTER SYSTEM: 2 weeks on / 1 week off or 3 weeks on / 1 week off
• ▸BASE LOCATIONS: Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven (Netherlands)
• ▸VEHICLE SPEC: modern VOLVO tractor unit paired with curtainsider semi-trailer
• ▸FREIGHT TYPES: palletized commercial merchandise, nursery trees, and packaged ADR goods
• ▸DRIVING ROUTES: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland (strictly daytime operations)
• ▸LODGING & FACILITIES: sleeper cab during transit, fully equipped transport depot with washing machines, dryers, kitchen, TV lounge, and showers
• ▸PAID LEAVE: 20 or 26 days of annual paid leave based on cumulative professional tenure
• ▸CONTRACT TERMS: standard employment agreement (initial 3-month trial, followed by indefinite contract)

Requirements

• ▸Valid Category C+E driving license with Code 95 and active driver digital tachograph card
• ▸Documented experience as a CE commercial driver operating curtainsider trailers
• ▸Basic communicative English or German, familiarity with telematics communication (Transics)
• ▸ADR basic certification (employer-sponsored course available for motivated candidates)

Additional Information

• ▸Daily working hours: strictly aligned with EU drivers hours regulations, typically 10-12 hours daily.
• ▸Travel arrangements: transit to operating depot fully organized and covered by employer.
• ▸Night runs: exceptionally rare (daytime schedules prioritized).
• ▸Fuel allowance: reimbursed for personal vehicle travel to depot.
• ▸Payment schedule: guaranteed salary transfer by the 10th of every calendar month.
• ▸SALARY: 14,000 - 19,000 PLN gross monthly.
